January 24th is a Snow Day Again

Thursday, January 24, 2019. OSTA has cancelled all buses & vans for today. Schools are open.  Parents/guardians are responsible for transportation of students attending open schools and responsible for pick up at end of day.  

Snow Days and the Exam Schedule:

Because of the snow day on January 23rd, all exams have been bumped by one day and rescheduled to January 24th, 25th, 28th and 29th.  
In the event of a second “snow day where yellow school bus transportation is cancelled during the high school exam period, the following will occur:
All exams will be bumped by one day except for the last exam which is currently scheduled for the morning of Tuesday, January 29th This exam will be written in the afternoon of Tuesday, January 29th

For example, if January 24th is a snow day and all school bus transportation for our board is cancelled, then:

All exams now scheduled for January 24th will be written on Friday, January 25th.

All exams scheduled for January 25th will be written on Monday, January 28th.

All exams scheduled for January 28th will be written in the morning of Tuesday, January 29th.

All exams scheduled for January 29th will be written in the afternoon Tuesday, January 29th.
January 30th remains a PD Day.
                     The exam schedules at all schools                                           for all students will be affected (not just for                             school bus riders).  

                   During a snow day, the school will be open, but                        exams will not be written.
